1. Drivers

Qualification and Experience

Possession of a full MSCE with (5) five years experience in a driving environment.

Must have a valid PG driving licence

Should be between 25 and 40 years

Must have a clean driving record

Knowledge of relevant road traffic laws and hold fast entirely to them

Sound interpersonal and driving skills

Must be a safety conscious person

Must be focused, confident and observant.

Extensive travelling is required and willingness to work extended hours including overtime.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and up to date schedule trip sheets; thus log official trips; daily mileage and fuel consumption.
  • Report timely; expiry of vehicles COF and insurance.
  • Report incidents and accidents timely and compile vehicle condition reports and other records required by Management. 
  • Report and coordinate with the Transport Officer to ensure that minor/ major vehicle maintenances are carried out in time.
  • Strict adherence to road traffic laws and regulations.
  • Clean both inside/outside vehicles regularly to ensure that they are kept perfect at all times and check wear and tear.
  • Assist Officers load and offload baggage and properly take instructions from supervisors
  • Ensure that vehicles are refueled as and when required; and perform periodic maintenances on vehicles such as changing batteries.
  • Dress smartly in accordance with the dress code of the Board.
  • Guarantee proper security over staff items and office documents that are in the vehicles.

2. Personal Secretary

Qualifications and Experience

MSCE with at least a credit pass in English or its equivalent

Must have shorthand speed of 120 WPM

Advanced typing of two years training at an approved and recognised secretarial school

A special proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and other computer related programmes

Should have not less than 3 years experience

Should be able to work under pressure with minimum supervision.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Typing and photocopying all confidential and general correspondence in the department
  • Taking and transcribing shorthand
  • Maintaining an update diary or appointment
  • Managing sound filing system
  • Handling both internal and external mail
  • Maintaining the incoming mail register
  • Making official bookings for travel and accommodation facilities.
